There is this eager to be able to control the definition of the words in our modern society. I remember when the International Astronomical Union suddenly decided Pluto was not a planet. I am not sure how the International Astronomical Union took over the office of changing word definitions. In a very unscientific way, it declared that if a planet that is small and has debris on its orbit is no longer a planet. And then name this new entity a dwarf-planet! It is like saying small dogs that have not clear their food dishes are no longer dogs but dwarf-dogs. So, a small planet with debris on its orbit is no longer a planet in the same way a small dog with food on its dish is not a dog and?! - You make sense out of it. Recently fake news roamed among the Catholic Circles trying to change the definition of Jesus Christ. It declared that the Pope denied the Divinity of Jesus while on Earth. The good news is that it turned out to be fake news. Nevertheless, less analyze the implications of such heresy: 1: God would be mutable, which it is impossible for an infinite being. If Jesus were to be divine in Heaven but not on Earth, this would imply God is not infinite divine, just by the fact his divinity can be temporally left behind. The problem with the “Jesus not being divine on Earth” statement is that it is impossible. If there is something God cannot do is stop being God. God cannot leave his attributes behind and stop being God while taking on human nature. If there is something, I learned from Math is as soon an infinite gets interrupted, it is no longer infinite.

2: The Devil would rejoice if Jesus were not to be divine on Earth: The very fact the Devil lost its salvation by not accepting the Mystery of The Incarnation is a witness Jesus was divine on Earth. He is jealous of humanity because the Divine Being touched humanity by taking on human nature. In this way, God elevated humanity above the cast of the angels and made Mary their Queen. This is too hard for the Devil to accept that would have preferred that the Divine Being would have taken on his seraphic nature and not human nature. Therefore, if Jesus was not divine on Earth, there is no reason to elevate humanity above the cast of angels and made the Blessed Virgin Mary their Queen. Through this heresy, the Devil has tried to take Mary’s place through the ages! 3: Emmanuel would mean nothing: Emmanuel is one of the names attributed to Jesus. It means “God is with us!” and if God is with us, so its divinity. Jesus is the presence of God on Earth. If Jesus were not divine on Earth, its sacrifice on the cross would not be enough to move God’s heart and free humanity from the effects of the original sin. A divine infinite God requires of a divine infinite sacrifice to be appeased and only an infinite Divine God in the person of Jesus can appease itself in the person of the Father. The message here is not to judge things by their neighborhood. Pluto is small and its neighborhood may have some debris but Pluto revolves around the Sun, it is round, has mountains, a blue sky, with some clouds, a type of nitrogen ocean and five moons revolving around it: It quacks like a planet to me. - Jesus roamed on Earth among not divine beings in an imperfect world. He made miracles and gave us many signs: He was divine at all times.
